Pilot Knocked it Out of the Park!

Amazon needs to commit to this show quickly! Came to it with low expectations and was won over by its story, effects and actors performances.

Same for me. I didn't think that Peter would make a good Tick, being familiar with all of his earlier works. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the focus was on Arthur and that The Tick was worked in to do what he did best...which was to be AWESOME!

he pulls off the ticks insane behavior. he is kind of smarter than he was before. its a fine line between retardation and justice.

How so? I found it depressing, lacking in any real humor, and rather poorly acted. All in all, I was disappointed.

Really? I thought Arthur was near perfect and I like the changes made to Dot. Serafanwicz nailed the voice a few times but needs to work on that. All in all I thought it was a great start. It wasn't rioutously funny but I definetly laughed a handful of times. I am super excited for the rest of the season.

I also thought the Arthur characters was spot on. The Tick was a bit lacking. It felt like somebody pretending to be the Tick, at a party or something. He didn't feel like the Tick. Patrick Warburton brought the Tick to life.

Same here. I will miss patrick warburton but I have seen peter in other things and have liked him in them so I hope he will grow on me. I am also glad they got Ben Edlund to write it as well, I just hope they add some more of the quirky characters in it if it gets picked up. I think the quality of almost everything was better, but I liked the previous tick costume better.

I came into the pilot not really knowing what to expect but after watching it I am sad that I won't be able to continue because I don't have Amazon Prime.
