I've been a member of IMDB for 12 years...and I've watched as it's message boards have become a collective ghost town (with some that are war zones) with everyone going to other places to talk about stuff.
Also...does anyone else think that all three getting a series sort of defeats the purpose of voting? Or were all of them just that good

It's got to have been some PR thing. Something Amazon came up with to squeeze some extra "marketing coverage" or something. Something to try and create urgency or whatever..... OR it simply could be that they were positiviely surprised by the number of votes that all shows received and thought that NOT making series from all pilots would be a lost opportunity for making money.
Also, most boards aren't active? I don't peruse all of IMDB but I do visit a few different boards and there are popular ones (I'd definitely call those war zones tho lol)

Nice, I really liked the pilot. And the Van Damme show looked like it might have potential as well.

Anyway, Jean-Claude Van Johnson was by far the best of the three pilots. I'm glad they picked that one.
The Tick was kinda dissapointing, but the potential is there.
On the other hand, I Love Dick was terrible, I hope they change the format as much as they can, nothing but 20 minutes of horny hipsters. They do have Kevin Bacon, though.
I'm surprised they picked all three, I hope they improve Tick and Dick.
