I'm trying to figure out if there will be more episodes because all I'm seeing is one episode. I haven't watched it but I don't want to start if it already got canceled. I used to watch the cartoon when I was a kid so it would be cool for them to make it live
shareA few weeks ago Amazon confirmed that the pilot will be made into a series. But I haven't heard ANYTHING since then, and as you can see this board is very quiet.
I think we'll hear something official next year. Maybe sometime in spring.
About it being live action, there was another live action adaptation in 2001 if you didn't already know, which was canceled after 9 episodes.

Thanks I don't think I've seen them 2001 version but it looks like Joe from family guy plays the tick so I might have to check that out thanks.

They order a bunch of pilots (IE one episode) and then they release the pilot episodes online for their customers to watch and review.
After this they take the ones that people watched the most and had the highest ratings and they order them to a series.
The Tick was one that got picked up, so you'll get a season of episodes but it probably wont be until late 2017 or early 2018 at the earliest.
