Have you seen the NEW ending?

Just saw the last episode on demand and they had extras. One of them was an exclusive new ending!

*spoilers of course*

Couldn't believe my eyes. I saw just what I had pictured in my mind to neatly wrap the series. Maybe they shot it after it was cancelled. It's 3 minutes long.

Back in the garage, the father is fixing the radio, and it works. She tells him that he got it, the nightingale. He died in prison last year. It's done. He asks about her mother, she is planning her wedding.
She asks her father to write something down, June 14 2011.. the day of his accident .. he stops.. she says she doesn't care what he said before, she asks him, don't come out of your house, for us, mother misses you so much.

"Dad tell me you've got this" and the radio shuts down.

A voice behind her "I got it", her dad, now with gray hair, is looking at her. They hug and you see flashbacks of their time together, over the last years.

I don't know how you can explain it, as they were in real time, years apart.
The mother driving her crazy with the wedding, maybe a few weeks had gone by, so he can fix the radio and heal too. Wasn't he shot in the leg?

Did he tear his driving license after the radio was turned off? Hard to believe as a cop. Called in sick years in advance..

Or simply making a promise to himself that he won't come out that faithful day, no mather what? Was it enough?
