Or should she ask him to pass it along to someone that is competent? 

Even if he was blown off by the feds, someone in Boston could have made an anonymous tip about the hijackers having box cutters. She has specifics that would have been acted upon in 2001.

I think Frank had the right idea, that maybe it was time to leave well enough alone and stop screwing around with Reality.
