What the wroblem was, to me any way...

The writer, in common with a lot of people today, totally misunderstood the double entendre style of 70's comedy.

The ones in this were sledge hammer to the face every other line, bordering on the the distastful at times. In the 70's, these comedies were actually very well written comedies with the occasional dodgy double entandre, which could be slippery and quick as well as pretty obvious, but it was never sledge hammer to the face type, being spread out much more sparsly.

Even the carry on films weren't like that.

Other than that, I thought the girl who played miss Brahms was quite good, not Wendy richard, but a good second. Roy Barraclough obviously good as were all the others except, the aweful Mr humphries and Miss Slocum needs tweaking. OK, the black man was there purely because he was black, but he did an alright job and fair enough.

Got potential I thought just needs tweaking.

Only those with no valid argument pick holes in peoples spelling and grammar. 
