You're not invited.
That's all I get from this documentary, it is so bad I don't think I will finish it and it really reeks of elitism.
I remember when someone asked Anna Wintour how she compared fashion now to let's say Studio 54, and she said it was so much better now when everyone is included as opposed to Studio 54 were people were left outside the velvet rope, but I think it's the total opposite. Fashion has never been more unwelcoming and irrelevant than today. Is it even fashion? When was the last time Vogue was about women and clothes as opposed to celebrities?
There is a certain relatable and inclusive quality that has been entirely lost, thanks to this woman and her obsession with celebrity. No one is invited to this party and the Met Gala is the epitome of that. It serves no purpose. The clothes are entirely irrelevant.
