Exact same plot as...

The 2010 Disney Channel movie Starstruck and/or whatever movie that was "inspired" by. Movie plots like these seem to be rehashed every few years...

I get how it can somewhat be the same plot. But this movie was based on inspiration and Starstruck was not.

No, Starstruck was cliched and predictable in a cheesy Disney way. This movie was cliched and predictable in a boring way. The Disney actors, at least, looked like they had some acting background. The actors in this film, especially the young man, were flat and had no affect, no chemistry and no skill.

So while the Disney film was a predictable 5, this one doesn't even get on the board, because one has to give at least one star, and it didn't deserve one.

The scene in the car where she recognizes the guy as a big name star and he offers her tickets, autographs, etc, if she just doesn't scream.....how stupid was that? She didn't scream, didn't look like she was going to scream, and didn't even seem to care who he was, while he.....he was just so boring to watch! There was *nothing* there.

And it never got better.

He said that because he was so removed from 'real' life... That's how girls generally reacted to him!

I thought he was quite sweet.... I couldn't really imagine him holding an audience or being a big star. But maybe the point was that his 'real' self was very different from his star persona?

I thought the actor wasn't bad and I enjoyed the film because I wasn't expecting too much- it's a cheesy teen film!

The biggest fan (2002) comes to mind.
