72 hrs?...

Where do they go to the toilet? I can only assume these places have no running water.

They probably bring along one of these: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b1/Portaloo.jpg

I don't suffer from insanity, I actually enjoy it

A lot of these type of places still have caretakers, and also running water and sometimes electricity. I worked as a security guard alone for a bit on a half demolished, fenced off set of council buildings, place was a wreck and full of rats but thankfully it had working toilets and plug sockets to make the 12 hour shifts bearable.
But yes, there is the portaloo option posted above haha.

I assume Rob brings them food to eat as well.

Ya, I took it to be what we would take on a camp out. Coolers with water, juice, sandwiches and such, but since it's a lockdown, I would think they can't leave the building. From what I know, in order to have full time caretakers, the place has to have an income. Mind you, I only have seen 3 episodes and they all seem dilapidated.
Thanks to chime1985 for research. That's what I thought, but then it wouldn't be a lockdown if they used it, right?

Well I can tell you, Trans-Allegheny (Ep1) has a private owner and runs tours & ghost hunts 6 days a week. Anderson Hotel (Ep2) is above a bar type place that is in use. Franklin Castle (Ep3) has a well-off private owner in Europe, that has renovated the place. And Randolph County Infirmary (Ep4) was recently bought by Dave Allen & Adam Kimmell of Resident Undead, you can see them cleaning it up and renovating before they did their own Paranormal investigations at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uInvJYeUdZU
So i hope this info helps.

For future eps, Hinsdale House has caretakers keeping it open for tours and plan to turn it into a museum. And Kreischer House has a private owner that's spent a $1million on renovating it, it had a caretaker at one point who murdered someone there in 2005 (might get mentioned in the show, might not). Think the house has been up for sale for years.

As for the Lockdown, I dunno how strict the rules are, they are staying there on location for 3 days which is the shows gimmick rather than being locked inside no matter what. It's the title of the show but it's not really played up like it was on Ghost Adventures. They've both done some Q&A live chats, I didn't listen to them but they are up on Facebook, they could shed much more light on the subject of food, toilets etc.

Wow, thanks so much for the info. Despite how they do the lockdowns, I'm still interested in the show. I know for myself, if I went 3 days without a shower, you would tell for sure. I'll assume the three days are, doing interviews the first day, getting locked down the second, and rapping the third. That makes more sense. But if I'm wrong, I have no problem being corrected.

You are mostly right but they get locked down on Day 1 and the interviews are done inside on the first day as part of the investigation, they do investigate on all 3 days. Like in Ep5 the 2nd day only took up 6 minutes on screen, largest piece of footage was from the 3rd day. I like this aspect mostly because I'm not into interviews that take up half the show followed by 20 mins of hunting that seems over very quickly especially when it's littered with replays. This show seems to know what people want, more hunting, less babbling on.
