I've officially stopped watching

Nick and Katrina, I'm not sure if you read these but I imagine someone in your camp does. I've watched every episode since this series was created. Admittedly, Nick received a side eye from me after doing the awfully scripted Sherperdstown show. But if you told me then that Nick has officially crossed over into fake I would have called you a liar. Tonight's episode at the prison was a joke! Even Katrina didn't believe you. You wake up on dat two with an EVP of a spirit yelling at you all night? But you didn't wake up? Katrina, who slept in the same area heard nothing? It wasn't captured in your overnight camera? And the noose. Really Nick? Did anyone else notice his exaggerated arm movements right before the noose moved? And it's just off camera enough that you didn't see the top of the noose attached to the beam. But the stationary camera on the tripod at the other side of the room was rolling. Why not show us that view as well? What's with all the video edits while moving from room to room? I call absolute BS! So disappointed. I will not watch again. Even the episode before that was a complete joke.

I created an account just to say that. That's how sick I was of the antics. Congrats, Nicknyou now have the same crap that every other paranormal shoe does.

Do you even know what EVPs are? EVPs are voices that you can't hear with your own ears. You can only hear them on your electronic recording device. That's why it's called ELECTRONIC voice phenomenon.

CG gore is the worst thing that has ever happened to the horror genre.

reply

Your attempt to try to correct me failed miserably. I meant that they hear vague noises, screams, hissing etc all the time. Always off camera. Or so they say. Nick also frequently uses the type of recorder that plays back in real time. Even Katrina didn't believe him. They glossed over that EVP so quickly because it was planted. Try not to be so literal next time. You're obviously very gullible

Ok let's try this again. This is what you said:

You said he got an EVP of a spirit yelling, ok. Why didn't he wake up? Because EVPs can't be heard by the human ear. Why didn't Katrina hear it? Because EVPs can't be heard by the human ear. Why wasn't it captured on the camera? Because only the recording device caught the so called yelling.

You're obviously very gullible

Lmao stfu. Gullible about what? Because I believe what they catch is real? When did I say I did, you idiot?

You STFU and get your life. Lonely enough on New Years to respond to this week old thread? Boy bye. FOH internet thug. If your attitude in life sucks as bad as your inflated internet persona then no wonder you're miserable.

and what are you doing at the moment? LOL.

Re: Noose. What I did notice after looking at it closely was the 'yank' started from the top which juuussst off camera. They got me at first but as I looked closer, I saw a "Grant Wilson"(yanked jacket) being played out.

reply

Exactly! Good eye. Nick has such exaggerated arm flapping and the noose just happens to move thereafter? The same with Katrina's jacket being "pulled". Her left arm was placed just so you couldn't see it while her jacket was moving. I really wanted to give them a chance. I think they went in with good intentions and were genuine. At first. Then the fame and money rolled in, so it was easier for the network to convince them to start faking things. Nick has gotten increasingly dramatic and Katrina can't even act surprised at their fake discoveries.

reply

The camera was carefully placed just right where you couldn't see the very top of the noose. So it moves as if someone jerked the top of it. I did enjoy the coat tug on Katrina. That was a cool trick.

reply

It was better than Grant Wilson's, I'll tell you that lol

reply

I stopped watching during the second last episode of Season 1, I was really looking forward to the show and thought it would be very different to GA. As it turned out it ended up being worse!

Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.

reply

Yeah, I had hoped it was going to be different as well. I'm mainly disappointed because Katrina was genuine to me. Nick has always been dramatic but Katrina didn't seem the type to lie. I really think in some instances, she's totally unaware of the faked evidence until after. Ah well. Guess everyone has a price

reply

I'm glad Nick was "ambitious" enough to land a show where he's not relegated as an "extra" with no dialogue on a show he co-founded.

reply

Being a background extra, I can tell you that Nick was nowhere near an extra in Ghost Adventures. There is a distinct difference between an extra and a principal. What Nick was, was an "under five", a principal who gets only five lines on camera. Throughout the entire Ghost Adventure series, everyone was able to at least say something.

What I still find kind of unequal was that Zak actually thought or still thinks he can boss his crew around. He has done it to Aaron numerous times. Billy is getting tired of it and now Jay is sort of coming to realization.

"Go in the room! Stay here alone." etc.

THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!

Katrina came to prominence on one of the fakest of all paranormal shows, Paranormal State. The "leader" of the group is now a complete shyster who bilks people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars to support his drug habit. The show was known to be one of the most scripted, BS paranormal shows out there. That's where Kristina comes from. And Nick comes from the other most ridiculous paranormal show, Ghost Adventures.

Kristina & Nick are really two peas in a pod. Money talks. Neither have either one of them ever had any qualms about being on fake paranormal shows, why would they start now?

Agreed. It's that same legacy that ruined the show Kindred Spirits when Ami And Adam brought in Chip Coffey.
