Bringing a past figure to the future

I wonder will there be any future episode when someone is brought back to the future? I would be interesting to see their reaction to what the future became.

good point but since they are trying to maintain a timeline I don't see any point or purpose but you never know, plus their bosses are pretty strict lol

Probably pretty dangerous. Might ravage Oshman's sporting goods.

They could definitely bring a past character forward if they were trying to escape from Flynn. Until, they've been chasing Flynn but put them in a scenario where Flynn is chasing them (Like when they captured Werner Von Braun) and give them the Lifeboat as their only means of escape?

You know what would be really interesting would be if they rescued an historical figure from the recent past who was still alive today, meaning they would have to either go really far into the future to avoid their own timeline, or take them into the past.

And Shut Up!

In Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Bill & Ted brought a number of historical figures into the present, including Joan of Arc and Socrates (or as they called him So Crates!).

If they remove a historical figure from say, the 2000s or even last week, wouldn't his existence in the timeline cease/be disrupted because he had been transported to the present? A parallel version of that the person wouldn't be there, so there wouldn't be anything to avoid.

The Spanish show "El Ministerio del Tiempo", whose producers are suing "Timeless" for plagiarism, does that all the time. It makes for some funny and thought-provoking moments.

There probably will be one later on in the series.

It's too fascinating and wanted by fans to pass up.

I personally want that reporter from the pilot rescued and brought back (to a corrected future where the Hindenburg once again blows up but Lucy's sister returns) and starts a romance with Wyatt.

All this feels strange and untrue

Don't worry, if the series continues, we'll see

-groundhog day episode
-someone from past brought to the future
-they already did a stranded in time episode
-completely different timeline in the future where they go back and fix it
-eventually they'll have to go where they went/existed before
-if they go wild, a complete episode in a dream or in musical style.

Those are the most used types of themes in scifi shows.

I was thinking that would have been a good solution to the problem of Rittenhouse's son. Just take the kid to the future and prevent him from continuing his father's work.. but then that could have wreaked major havoc for the future of course. Especially with Lucy's own father potentially being a descendant of the Rittenhouse line.

I think the next episode will be about this in the list i wrote. Even if we don't know the details, it seems rittenhouse greatly influenced america and even world's history. Unless, rittenhouse himself wasn't that important to the organization's later work which truly shaped the future our heroes are from.

I was thinking the same thing. Since Flynn killed his father, he'd want revenge and to continue his work. Even though he said there were others that would continue his fight, the kid wouldn't be able to extract revenge on the team that way.

Also since Flynn took Lucy, there is room in the lifeboat. They said it would only hold 3 people.

It does happen eventually.
