There would still be an Islam without Jesus. It would spread instead of Christanity, probably become the dominant religion in Europe, and then the United States. Basically, in 2017 things would be very similar, except women have a lot less rights, homosexuality is punishable by death and dick surgery is mandatory. Slavery would probably never have been outlawed.
Sounds like a massive improvement to you?

Not really. Mohammed formulated his theology by studying Judaism and Christianity. He wrote a lot about "Maryam", the Virgin Mary. He thought Jesus was a great prophet whose message had been "distorted" and needed correcting in the Quran.

It did. Until the Age of Exploration, Islam was more powerful and widespread than Christianity. Historian William Durant points out that what brought down the Muslim caliphate was the Mongol invasion, not any internal problems.
So are you suggesting that without Jesus people would cease to be prideful, or jealous, or mean, or hateful?
