Is this a secret Shyamalan movie? SPOILERS

At the one hour fifteen minute mark, a police officer (conveniently shrouded by reflections of trees in his car window) says "Position one, copy" to his walkie talkie. He looks and sounds like M Night Shyamalan, who's known to cameo in his own movies. I know The Watcher is directed by Ryan Rothmaier, but it has a trademark Shyamalan twist in act three when
The Raven (the monster that's hunting the couple) turns out to be the mentally ill boy Mikey, just like the forest creature that hunted transgressors in Shyamalan's The Village turned out to be mentally ill Noah Percy (Okay, Mikey wasn't really ill, but still)
.

I had another idea: maybe Ryan Rothmaier is a huge fan of Shyamalan's and he wanted to make a villain origin story and he asked Shyamalan if he would cameo and Shyamalan said "Sure but I don't want to be credited because then people will think it's a Shyamalan movie" so Rothmaier said "Great" and cast him as an extra who was given suspicious attention from the camera but no mention in IMDb.
SPLIT turned out to be a villain origin story too. Maybe Shyamalan borrowed the inspiration for his Unbreakable sequel after watching The Watcher!
