So with everything in mind that happens during the scene with the mother and son near the end, where we find out he is just as messed up as she is, what was the point of the hospital scene? It sure looked to me like she was going to kill him.
shareI think it's because - according to his mother - he had taken it too far.
He was only supposed to scare the family a little, not kill them.
Maybe she was going to kill him before he killed more people... Just a thought
We can only go off what the movie gives us. And the movie gave us the impression she was there to kill Mikey because she felt his need was not required anymore. Or as she said: "took it too far."
