So much computer graphics... they can't even show an avalanche without painting in hundreds of fake trees getting bent over. Terrible.

What episode are you referring to? I would like to check out that scene. I know a lot of people have been posting about Planet Earth II using a bunch of CGI, but I have yet to see anything that I would even think might be CGI. I'm a nature photographer, timelapse shooter, astrophotographer, video editor, visual effects artist among other things, so I have a lot of experience and knowledge in this particular field. The scenes that I've seen people claiming are CGI appear to be 100% legitimate footage. The only content that I've seen in the show that is not accurately captured is the audio, which is obviously folly and sound added in post, but not with any intention of "fooling" anyone. Before I check out that scene, what exactly about the shot makes it look like CGI? Thanks!
