I don't care about the politics surrounding the movie.


When you look at a film like this, you shouldn't put the politics first. You should look at the acting, the direction, the screenplay, the production values first. That's what I look at here. I must ask here: is the acting good? Is the direction good, is the screenplay good, are the production values good? That's what you should look at, not the politics.

I would say that before you look at the production values you engage the story - many movies have suffered from low budgets and were still well received because they made do with what they had, but more importantly they had a great story - having said that, it's difficult to imagine that this story will be apolitical

I agree. I just want people to look at the production values of the film before they decide to bash it for being "too liberal."
