Does it have to be black or white?

I can appreciate that Barack Obama seems like a decent man if you look past his politics. Obviously his politics is all that matters when you're supposed to evaluate his presidency and I personally think Obama has been a terrible president, largely because I think socialism is an immoral ideology. But that's the thing, this movie doesn't need to have anything to do with your opinion of Obama as a president.

I don't think it's that hard to make that distinction. I think it's possible to watch a college student in a movie and like the man even though you know he's going to make the world a worse place for a lot of people in the future. If anything I would say that's a thought provoking aspect of the movie. It doesn't have to be black or white, it's usually something in between, like Obama is in more than one way.
