Can someone please explain them to me? Were they young (as they appeared during the earlier part of the movie), or were they always old (the way they were later in the movie)? Did the "husband" actually make out with the sexy next door neighbor or was that just imagined? I really thought they (the sexy neighbors) were unnecessary, though. They didn't add anything to the movie.
shareI think they were real and old. I think only the husband saw them as young and sexy. I think the wife saw them as old, which is why she was perplexed when after looking across the street at them, the jealous husband said "take a picture, it would be less awkward" or something like that.
shareYes, but seeing them as "young and sexy"--what did that have to do with The Darkness? You'd think "It" would make him see them as sinister and frightening. Didn't really make sense.
