Great concept

I had the privilege of seeing the first three episodes at the premiere. It is a great show so far :)

Being an avid kdrama fan I really felt like they got it. I'm also excited at the idea that people from around the world worked on this. The whole idea of bringing different cultures together is fantastic.

I've just watched the first two episodes on Netflix and can't believe I'm watching my dream come true.

I also like how they poke fun at the staples of kdrama with the *laws*.

I loved the concept too. It was just unfortunate that from the very beginning you could tell Claire was being played by someone who wasn't American. So many accent slips and the teeth. That's a dead giveaway that she's from the UK.

I did a check and she's Australian. I didn't pick up that she wasn't American until reading your comment. Her teeth are unusually yellow for someone her age but being Australian, she probably drinks a lot of coffee.

Unfortunate the best actor, who most likely gave the best audition,
and who had the best on screen chemistry with her cast-mates got the part?
There's a reason they call it acting, and not reality tv.
Liv Hewson is wonderfully engaging, she reminds me of a young Ellen Page.
I don't care what country she's from.

Thanks Netflix, otherwise I would have missed this show. I laughed all the way through as I got a lot of the jokes. Not making fun of K-drama but a clever spin on it by fans of the genre.

I was very wary, but I'm glad I decided to give it a shot! What I thought was going to be horribly corny and low-budget turned out to be an adorably witty show that I binged and finished on Netflix in one night!

There BETTER be a season 2!

I really enjoyed it I just wish it was longer and took it's self a tad more seriously. The lead was sorta iffy for me too now that you guys mention she isn't American I get why her performance was kinda clunky now. It was really fun this reminded me a lot of Lost in Austen except instead of a girl getting stuck in a Jane Austen novel this girl got stuck in a Korean Drama lol.

The concept reminded me a lot of Lost in Austen. I loved that and Dramaworld was great, as well. I hope the series picks up a second season. It kind of left off with a cliffhanger and they can work with it.

I full enjoyed this series. They really have great material to work with here, especially if they do it right.
