I can't wait to see the series. But, it has apparently already been pushed back 1 year.
Is it really going to happen, or quietly be scrapped? And, if so, why? Too racy, controversial, boring?
It premieres July 24 on NBC. Although the trailer looks interesting, it's based on books by Charlaine Harris, who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse novels that were the basis for True Blood, so, I dunno . . .

shareThe premiere made me cautiously optimistic. I liked the lead actor when he was on The Borgias and it is good to see Doctore from Spartacus again. Some of the exposition was too blunt for my taste, and it's clear that the preacher is a lycanthrope, so we have another Reverand Werewolf, just like in Stephen King's Silver Bullet. I'll give it a chance. The FX are cheap, though.
