A young teenager in an ADULT prison?

WTF? That's against the Constitution! Cruel and unusual!

reply

It's because he has the power to blow stuff up and couldn't control that ability. Also it's to show the Anti mutant hysteria that still exists. If you noticed everyone there was a mutant and they all had those collars that suppress their powers.

A young teenage MUTANT in an adult MUTANT prison.

Oh, so if they execute them by hanging or whatever, then that goes for children, too? Seems there's no difference between that perverse institute that Russell was at, nor the Icebox.

reply

The problem is, in the universe the X-Men inhabit, mutants are considered huiman only when convenient. Most of the time, they are treated as a problem to be removed.

Hence...you know....Sentinels.

if you are of moral position that mutants = evil then you will not care whether they are children or adults., you wont see them as human.

LOL.

I imagine there was 'do what you have to' and gagging order put into effect pretty quickly in regards to mutants, and doing whatever you have to do sequester them if you can't just quietly bump them off. I imagine because the kid was older and shown himself to be a threat he was considered to be some that could be taught 'good value' or rehabilitated.

Everyone knows you put all mutants in the same prison. What’s wrong with you, that’s common knowledge.
