Since it turned out to be Brad Pitt, does this take place in the same universe as Seven Years in Tibet????

Yes, all movies with Brad Pitt take place in the same shared universe except for Cutting Class.

funny to think Brad Pitt is now part of the XMen movieverse along with Stewart, Jackman, McKellan, Fassbender, Bacon etc etc

No. It's the same universe as Fight Club. So we're gonna see more of Edward Norton in the movies to come.

I thought it was the same universe as sleepers where the Vanisher was abused in a reform school. Which kind of fits with the plot of the movie......

lol. I loved the concept of the Vanisher. And liked it even more when it so unexpectedly turned out to be Brad Pitt.

I agree, that was the funniest part of the movie for me.

The Irony of being good looking but nobody can see it.

Really? It lasted like.. 1 seconds if not less. It wasn't funny and just because it's Brad Pitt doesn't make it any more special.

I thought it took place in the Jim Jefferies Show universe.
