Glad this was released wide because it never would have made it to our town. Good to see studios are giving different demographics a (albeit short) spotlight. I think there's also types of personalities portrayed in these types of movies you don't see in your typical Hollywood clown show. And no, it's not diminishing the focus of the 'majority' aka white people; it actually brings out characters that usually get overlooked in other romcoms.
shareGood point, and yes this is a very good movie that showcases Nanjiani's talent very well. I love him on the HBO show Silicon Valley but here he shows you there is still more depth to this actor.

I was happy to see that it got a wide release, as well. It was a sweet story, no car chases or big explosions, just a story of two people starting their life together in an unconventional way. Holly Hunter and Ray Ramano stole the show. Well worth watching.
