How old is the cop lady?

Seems to me that I heard her say her dad was friends with the donut shop owner. That would make her about his daughters age? To look at her that seems contrary to all the known laws of physics. She seems to be his age but trying (badly I might add) to look like a thirty year old? Katey Segall from grandmother to millennial lady cop in just over a year or two. What a miracle. I would have preferred a younger version of her in this part. Or somebody else.
