What's with the weird spacing of seasons?

I kind of get the larger gap between seasons two and three, although 2 1/2 years still seems a bit excessive even when it's changing networks. But then only six months between seasons three and four? What's that about?

Who cares? The main thing is that they made a great show!

I love it too, especially the first couple seasons. But I'm still curious.

I think the show got even better after HBO Max took over.

I have only seen the pilot and the characters were so unlikable I didn't keep watching. same with Euphoria

Yeah, you are not supposed to like them, that's not the appeal of the show.

You're not supposed to like the characters from Veep but at least they are funny.

Hey, it's not like I care if you watch the show. 😄

Just saying, I loved it, and apparently so did many other people, and HBO Max even considered the show worthy of taking over from TBS and investing in it.

It's a satire about self-absorbed, shallow millennials. You're supposed to laugh at their stupidity.

Interesting. There are 50 episodes of the show now. The first 20, I eagerly watched as soon as I could. Then the next ten (first HBO season), I was less eager but did finish the season. I have still only seen the first episode of the fourth season, so now all of a sudden I'm 19 episodes behind, not a good sign.
