For Millenials Only

And probably (hopefully) a small subset of them.

I'm a millennial and I was thinking this show is for no one.

reply

Nah...it's for people who like the unconventional, weird, unsure, very quirky characters...and surprisingly, episode by episode it slowly starts to connect.

Agree with what this poster said. I am in no way a millennial, and I thought this show was very well done, even though it really didn't seem like much from the commercials.

reply

This is not millennial at all. If anything it's more like a dark 90s comedy, very Gen X.

I'm far from a millenial, and I loved this show.

The oldest millennials are 35 currently. If your pic is you and recent you look 38ish at the most, so I wouldn't say "far from millennial". lol

I don't think so honey. Millennial's were born 1990 or after. I was born in the early 80s and I can tell you that 80s babies (90s kids) have little in common with "Millennials."

Millennial = Homo Sapiens born 1990 or after; Losers who think they know everything but don't

Um, no.

Millennial generation: Those born between 1982 and 2002.

Google is a thing, you know. And BTW, you are either a millennial or just barely missed it by a year or so. Enjoy.

I have debated this many times on IMDB. It has become tiring.

Google is a thing, you know, try googling *beep* you i'm not a millennial," without the dash of course, and you will see what I am talking about.

Millennials are the people who think Lebron James is better than Michael Jordan.
Millennials didn't experience dial up internet.
Millennials don't remember a time before cell phones.
Millennials weren't alive when Michael Jackson was on top.
Millennials weren't alive or old enough to remember the OJ Simpson trial.

I was born in 84 and remember all those things quite well.

And you're still so, terribly and tragically wrong. But obviously that's the way you like it, so have fun with that.

You are objectively wrong, though. By every academic measure, millenials are the ones born between early to mid 80s and mid 90s to early 00s.

I was born 88 and definitely recognize a lot of the millenial traits in me. Michael Jackson was my favourite when I was a kid.

reply

Hell, I'm 68 and got a real kick out of this show.

reply

I'm not a millennial and I find it interesting. I'm not sure if I like it. The characters are annoying. But there is something addictive about it.

This show skewers millenials incredibly hard, I think that's the shows number one objective. I think that appeals to non millenials even more. So I think you got it backwards bub.

reply

All media depictions of millenials are harsh. Nothing else is going to interest anyone if it doesn't degrade the characters.

reply

This is one of the few times that the skewering was clever and hit close to home. Compare this to the new Gilmore Girls' satirical look at Millennials with the "30 Something Gang." There is no comparison.

reply

I get that they're trying to make fun of mellinnials, but the result seems to me to be a whole cast of really irritating, self-important, unlikable characters. The fact that they're supposed to be that way isn't making it any more watchable to me. I'm only a couple episodes in and I don't think I can take much more of these obnoxious brats.

reply

Non-millennial. I thought the premise of an everyday person wanting to suddenly play detective peaked my curiosity.

reply

Baby boomer here that appreciates dark quirky originality. I can see its a millennial targeted show, but that's hardly a sole criteria for judgement.
