Dory was right all along. Chantel was lying her ass off. Are people really not seeing that?
1) Nothing about Portia's encounter with Chantel makes any sense. She meets this handsome Montreal guy and we are supposed to believe he has nothing to do with Chantel's disappearance? Surely you all noticed there was no explanation from the ditz Portia HOW she ran into Chantel.
2) How did Chantel know Keith? How did Keith know where she was?
Er, there was. She bumped into the French guy in the street, obviously swapped phone numbers and when he rang her to meet up for a drink, she happened to pick up a book of matches from the bar where Chantal was working. She met him there and came across Chantal.
Your second query, though, is a good one and the only plot hole I spotted: Keith didn't know Chantal at all but was looking for here because he spotted the $250,000 reward for her return and wanted the money. How he found out she was in Montreal and got her address from Agnes wasn't explained, however.
I'm thinking..he just followed them .
shareI think Keith, being a real PI albeit not working for the Either bottom family, figured out who Agnes Cho was (because Dory said her name and he had a pic of her) and convinced Agnes to give up the location.

All he had to do was track Dory's phone through GPS. He was so obsessed with her and he's a PI. He probably hacked her phone long before she went off to Montreal.
