Anyone else not suspect it was the 'nice guy' best friend?

Am I the only one who did not suspect it was the 'nice guy' best friend behind all what happened? I honestly thought it was just some random perv, or maybe troy or one of his friends did it. I guess I am really naive, but I just don't understand the method behind the madness of why he would do such crazy things to make her see that he was more than just a nice guy nothing".

I mean, I know how he wants to get out of the friendzone but wow, you don't leak nudes of your best girl friend online, drugging her then dragging her to some old abandoned cabin where you turn into some crazy stalker obsessed rapist, that's just messed up.

The more personalities you have the less boring you are!

Yes I agree. The trick is that the characters who you least suspect turn out to be the bad guys

He was acting real creepy from the start. While I wasn't sure that it was him early on I got the feeling he was a stalker type.

Seemed obvious to me he could be the only one doing it, there really weren't any other characters it could've been. In the first few minutes the subtle hint about his creepy jokes in the deli, then when he started acting concerned and protective over her it really gave it away.

The basic tenet of a tv movie; males are sick sex crazed animals, and the younger they are the sicker they are.

I was on the fence for about half the movie (give or take), but i was pretty certain it was a matter of time before my suspicions were correct after that. Never connected him and the van...

don't take nudes of yourself

don't let your boyfriend take nudes of yourself.

don't let your 19 year old leave home being that naïve about guys, their motives and her body.

and then don't be surprised if you fail at all of these and become a grandma before your daughter hits the 2 decade mark.

I had a feeling early on in the movie that it was him. The way he acted when she was in the hospital just suspicious to me. He said that it had to be Troy and that the picture of him proved it, but when she confirmed that she knew the picture was photoshopped because she took that picture he quickly came back with, "Oh he was obviously hacked, then!" idk it just seemed really suspicious.
