Who paid for this...Soros, obama, or clinton ?

It's fair to ask, since this movie is clearly a political attack against the U.S.

You're deeply paranoid. I found it straight forward and informative. You should seek help

Wowjonesegg, you're interfering with the OP's need to believe anything he disagrees with is a labyrinthine liberal conspiracy! Which, of course, I'm sure he now thinks you and I are part of. (Cue "Twilight Zone" theme.)

reply

Conspiracy theories abound! Just like crybaby liberals blaming
"russian hacking" for Clinton's loss.?

It is anti-Israel if anything. That foul-mouthed digitized actress Joanne Tucker's message is quite clear in that respect.

reply

Agreed. Amazing how liberals can't resist the intolerant impulse to attack an individual, when that individual opines a film was anti-American. I too noticed how the script conveniently dropped this in Israel's lap, and left it there. Trumphobia is alive and stupid here on IMDB, as earlier posts so amply display.

I watched the trailer but it seemed like a beat up. "20 times more complex than any other virus" etc.. Not sure i'll bother with it if it's also going to be one sided politically.

I didn't mean to paint this doc necessarily over the top bias, because it's not, IMO. The first half is spent explaining the masterpiece of this technological wonder, STUXNET. Why it was crafted, its characteristics, and its ultimate use. Mossad was explicitly blamed for allowing this virus to escape, and I don't take that claim at face value in view of the hyper-partisan fix we're now in. But, I haven't fact checked this claim and don't know if its veracity can even be realistically expected, either way.

Most profound is the claim that STUXNET is to cyber warfare what the atomic bomb was to kinetic warfare; a world forever changed and a genie without a bottle. BTW, after its intended target and subsequent 'escape' it first appeared in Belarus. The last Stalinist nation in Europe and a Russian fief. Russian GRU/FSB can only improve on STUXNET's original design, and that genie is going to re-appear. This renders EMP technology old school slop compared to the surgical deployment of STUXNET.

For instance, an EMP offensive would trigger a thousand China Syndromes in America. Ground forces would find it impossible to go in for mop up operations, and so the terrible beauty of STUXNET. To surgically bypass nuclear power plants the way Iran's were surgically targeted.
