didn't hang around - his character went down first

He was playing as a black guy character.

Hahaha... they played us like a dang fiddle with that twist. They set it up like "Oh look, Black guy dies first™" but in reality it was the MAIN CHARACTER! Didn't see that coming at all.

I was very surprised. But he’s unattractive in this movie so no big loss.

Probably at the time how middle aged and grey haired he looked. I've grown used to that in the last three years.

HE HAS THE BARRYMORE/SCREAM , JACKSON/DEEP BLUE SEA ROLE...ADD A BIG NAME TO THE POSTER AND SHOCK THE AUDIENCE WHEN HE IS GONE SO SOON....AROUND THE SAME TIME THE BLACK CHARACTER DYING FIRST BECAME A RECURRING JOKE,THE SWITCHED IT UP AND STARTED HAVING THEM LAST MUCH LONGER,SOMETIMES ALL THE WAY TO THE FINISH...SEE DEEP BLUE SEA.
