It's not about an alien lifeform, it's actually Hollywood telling you...

...how easy it is for NASA to fake their space missions.

All on show in this movie!

The scenes outside the space station - when they're out in space - identical to the alleged 'real thing'. If Hollywood can fake it this good, I'm sure NASA can and do all the time.

Yeh the Space Shuttle was just a rouse to make conspiracy theorists doubt their senses. The shuttle launch that blew was just good early cgi- the re-entry that went bad was Hollywood using laser tricks- Movies like are just what if stories based on possibilities- Not meant to threaten the sensibilities of your belief system or what you were taught by others... it allows you to think what if and beyond-expand your curiosity- I had a grandmother back in the 70's who thought we didn't land on the moon... it seems to me that a lot of trouble was exerted to fool the masses if that were the case- Billions of dollars? Getting 20+ men Astronauts to lie for 30+ years?, satellites?, Hubble telescope? It's just entertainment- I don't think there is any conspiracy to fool you with technology from Hollywood or NASA- the good thing is that if movies that focus on human exploration make you uneasy- you can choose not to watch. It doesn't have to be true or actual to be entertaining- and to derive that the movies concept is a conspiracy... well- that's a stretch- and giving way too much credit to filmmakers and employees, and not enough to people with educated sound minds.

Special effects were horrible during the 50s, 60s and early 70s. Why believe humans are too stupid to have space missions when humans are smart enough to create little portable phones that take pictures and allow people to buy movie tickets?

Lmfao! Damn Hollywood and their hidden agendas.

They don't fake it all, they just use some effects to cover up the UFOs. That's why so many people are convinced the moon landings were faked while others are so convinced it was real - because it was both. They went to the moon but they had to re-do some of the footage on a set on Earth because the real footage showed what is actually up there and they didn't want the public knowing about it. The original footage got destroyed, conveniently. I think that came out recently that they'd recorded over it. And it's infamous, the number of times the live footage from the ISS cuts out shortly after a UFO appears, there is tons of footage out there from the ISS that shows UFOs - you know, objects in the distance in space that are speeding up, slowing down, changing direction etc (i.e. impossible that it's just debris or 'ice crystals' or whatever).

I watched the moon landing live on TV, I knew I had seen something unusual

I also saw it all live on TV, as did millions of people. Claiming it was all faked neglects the fact that Russia was monitoring the whole journey and landing. If it were not real the Russians would have had a field day exposing the fraud!!

If you believe NASA , you would believe any lie.
