Dull, dull, dull

I thought this was pretty bad. Katie Findley as Molly was the best thing in the show: cute and a good actress. Her love interest, Ryan, however, was super bland and so conventionally handsome he was totally uninteresting, and thus no chemistry. Faith Ford and Ted were so perfect, popular, good, etc. etc. that I just could not identify with them or feel for them at all. Ted’s reaction to the flood made me think he was just afraid to get out in the real world and get a real job. Lord, move on. Quit acting like it was the end of the world. Owning a bookstore is not some kind of romantic dream. I can understand putting your whole financial future in jeopardy for something important, but not a store. Risk? OK, but not throwing money down a black hole. And then he gets into an accident because his eyes were full of tears. No mention of how they are going to pay that huge medical bill.
The first Bridge set up some good suspense and drama due to the manipulative and selfish father but the Bridge 2 did nothing with it. She finally stood up to him and he folded like a cheap suit. Hardly any drama or conflict at all. I hate it when the bad guys don’t get their comeuppance. He just turned all nice and all was forgiven.

I loved reading your opinions. Especially about the Dad folding like a cheap suit! Thanks for the laugh therapy!! You are hilarious!
Anyway, I agree some of what you say! But I wouldn't call the movie dull and I did enjoy the movie. I loved looking at the guy who played Ryan. Plus I thought he was a pretty decent actor.

It was a sweet movie...
