Josie leaving

I somehow can't see Sierra just being cool with Josie being a high school dropout. Unless they address her as getting a GED or something? Also chuckled at "Maybe New York," an obvious shout-out to the spin-off. I don't plan on watching. I feel like these are the only types of roles Lucy Hale does. I feel like it's the early days of Sex and the City. And while I like Josie well enough, I just don't care enough about the character to follow her to another show where she'll remain supporting player. It's through no fault of the actress, but on the writers for underusing and misusing her.

Also, wonder who will sing at the speakeasy now. In real life, logic would say maybe Melody or Valerie, who are still around. But since it's a TV show, I'm guessing Veronica will be singing more. And next season will hire another new singer and drama/mystery will ensue.

She will be supporting player in the spin-off?!

I didn’t know that. I thought the spin-off will be about Josie and the Pussycats and that she will be the main character.

What is the show gonna be about then?

reply

Well, it's called Katy Keene, so even if Josie is *a* lead, more likely a *co* lead, than *the* lead, who is generally the title character. I think Josie will more likely serve as a link, but still probably be better serviced in the spin-off. And she and the Pussycats broke up a while ago and we haven't seen them since

Yeah, actually now I remember that I read about it being called Katy Keene, but completely forgot about it. That character is unfamiliar to me, maybe why I didn’t remember it.
