I feel it needs to be someone of significance, not someone we've known as a minor supporting player for five episodes or less.

I kind of think/root Cheryl. She's still fishy and has something shady going on, and I'm sure not all of her dad's evil connections have just disappeared. Plus, if something then happened to her mom, it would give the town kind of a really creepy, eerie feeling, how everything used to be fine (in a time before the show) and now the awful events have wiped out one of the town's most prominent families.
