What's next? Addams Family as straight horror?

I would like to see a modern series based on The Addams Family. They tried to do a Munster's several years ago, but it didn't make it past an initial pilot that was made into a one off TV movie.

I'd be so down for an updated (and yes, slightly darker) Addams Family.
