Riverdale Glorifying Rape of a Minor... spoilers.

Riverdale Glorifying Rape of a Minor. Writers could not think of anything else original... but wait there is a twist...

In Riverdale, Miss Grundy is portrayed as having died years prior to the beginning of the series, with her obituary picture closely resembling the Miss Grundy of the comic book series. Her identity is stolen by a much younger and more attractive woman, Jennifer Gibson (Sarah Habel), whose true name is revealed during the course of the series.

I think it would have been more interesting with Archie and a 60 year old Miss Grundy.

Men are more vulnerable and in much more need of solace and they're fairly open to suggestion. And, she used that to fu*k him some place very uncomfortable..

Oh, you...

Is it glorified? So far its been very damaging to his life, other people are disgusted by it and it looks like she's going to turn out to be someone very different than we expected.

Replying to the wrong person mate.

Get over it mate. Board will be history in a week and there's worse things in life.

reply

Hey, I don't mind.

I just didn't want you to wonder why no one ever replied.

reply

You don't mind, you only just called me out on it.

reply

Never mind mate, board will be history in blah blah etc and whatnot

reply

I only said you were replying to the wrong person. It wasn't meant to be taken as any sort of accusation.

reply

This surely can't be the most bizarre thread I've ever replied to on IMDB could it....

...That better NOT have been an actual spoiler...

I don't think it glorifies sexual assault. For one Archies' relationship with ms.grundy is portrayed in a pretty negative light- she's controlling, secretive, the relationship messes with his life and she tries to force to to act against his own ethics.
secondarily, it's hinted that this is a pattern for her, that she actively seeks out young boys/men.
