Why does the animation look corny?
On the cover the characters look too "cartoonish" if there was such a thing.
I prefer a more realistic interpretation like in the JL Animation show or the DVDs.

This looks pretty juvenile. But hey, it's obviously whatvthey were going for.

The old "Timmverse" of Batman, Superman and Justice League was NOT "realistic" looking at all. People liked the more serious story telling so they came to view the animation style as more serious, even with the distinct retro character builds, particular the producers' fondness for hour-glass figured females that felt like they jumped out of a paper doll book from the 50's.
shareI don't know where, but I saw some comics called Action Comic, and the style of the art was similar to this. I forget where, but I think it's a specific art style. Don't quote me on it.
shareI agree, that's why i'm not even bothering with it.
They want to make it as 'kiddie' as possible so children (to be fair, their main demographic) go out buy the toys.
