Uncomfortably similar to Ultimate Spiderman

... in terms of the humour, at times.

Why they chose to do this, considering how reviled Ultimate Spiderman is, is beyond me.

Marvel and DC seem to be trying to make there TV products extremely light and goofy at the moment. Grab the younger viewers with cartoons, older viewers with TV series, everyone with the movies, etc.

At least there is more Young Justice to look forward to for more sophisticated storytelling.

Yet Ultimate Spidey was doing something right, it had 4 seasons...26 episodes per season. 104 episodes in a market where many shows are lucky to make it to 65. I wish Brave and the Bold had 104 episodes.

It wasn't really doing anything right ... it was low-rating, poorly reviewed and linked to Avengers Assemble.

Marvel doesn't seem to want to cancel any of its TV series out of hand, nowadays.
