'Fall Feast'?

Is there a reason they aren't calling it "Thanksgiving"?
I'm not being facetious, I'm honestly just curious.

I thought maybe it wasn't actually on thanksgiving day.

I don't think it was actually thanksgiving. I thought I remember them posting around thanksgiving and being at the big home

Hmmm maybe it was near Thanksgiving but not exactly on it.

Yeah that's what I suspect too. Since it wasn't actually on Thanksgiving, and given the unusually wide birth TLC has created by pulling the parents from being filmed almost entirely (which means they'd no longer film the official family Thanksgiving) on the show, obviously Jessa/the sister's 'Fall Feast' was supposed to be in substitute to Thanksgiving as far as the cameras are concerned.

Feast of Tabernacles / Succot? They do have a few wannabe Jewish practices.
