Tess talked about being forgiven in the last episode - when did this happen? The last thing I recall is that she told the guy but then that was it, he walked away.

Another thing that confuses me is....it seems like they are trying to make Tess and Matt close in age. If was a kid when her aunt murdered, wouldn't that mean he was a kid too?
Yeah, that line threw me too. I think some of the episodes have aired out of the order, but either that will get addressed in one of the last two episodes, or it happened off screen.
Either way, it's probably best they move on from that storyline.
I really liked Tess' storyline. I was hoping there would be some strange twist to it. Either they ended up dating, or perhaps he really was guilty.
I am also intrigued by Frankie's storyline.
Yeah, they must have skipped over that. I didn't see it either. I guess they showed episodes out of order of shooting. Which is annoying because that would have been a good scene to see before having it spoiled by the show itself.

I also feel they are running the episoedes out of originally scheduled order. All of a sudden the other lady had no substance abuse issues.

Although it could be either wishful thinking on character's part, or else the writers deciding to abandon that plot line without more ado (and wrapping it up very clumsily).
Either way, there was nothing shown on screen about her being forgiven.
