Freeform is ABC Family's new name and it is, apparently, attempting to "Sex itself up", with Guilt...
Too bad the cast is wasted with an amazingly thin script that depends on titillation over substance. You can't blame the actors for taking the job but there's no compelling reason to watch this drivel either. In an age of internet pornography being just a click away, "Guilt" has no glitz , glamor, or gravitas. It's the kind of sexualized grooming tool the moral majority has warned the public about for years... If your looking for a high quality murder mystery look elsewhere, if your looking for a sexualized "who done it", you'll be frustrated with the PG format and the commercial breaks ruin the continuity of the thin plot.
Too bad the cast needs to pay their bills and that they couldn't just tell the producers that this drivel was beneath them...
If your choosing between watching this and almost anything else, watch the other show... Try HBO's "The Night of", if you want a well crafted murder mystery but then, supposedly, you'll need your parents permission to watch HBO...
