Does the show have an end?

So thinking of watching this while I visit my sister? Does the show have an end? Or at least is the mystery resoled as in the first season of Broadchurch?

it has an end and leaves something for a second season.

Yes, it has an end. Broadchruch is sort of a good structural comparison in that that show ended with the killer caught but left a little unresolved plot on which they could build the next season.

On this show you will also learn who the killer is and why the murder happened at the end of the season but they did leave a little bit of plot line which they could use for season two.
