I'm new to this forum but this show is 1000% based on the Amanda Knox trial. Totally.

I'm okay with this as I am completely interested in that just Pointing out the obvious.

For those that want clarification:

-American student living in another country
-roomate (Molly) is also a foreigner living in another country
-press believes grace is guilty
-grace has foreign boyfriend just like Amanda Knox
-someone else is blamed for the murder (the prince) whereas in Knox trial it was her employer and then Guede

if it's 1000% Amanda Knox, her name would be Amanda Knox.

Inspired by is more accurate. Its like a law and order episode where they take the basic premise and run with it. In this case, Knox ans her foreign boyfriend were accused of murdering her room mate. But many of the details are completely different.
