Bad Ronald?

I'm wondering how close this will be to that cult-level TV movie.

I've just started watching; but, when I read the IMDb synopsis, I immediately thought of the other movie.

EDIT:
I was pleasantly surprised that the movie is an interesting addition to the "hider in the house"-genre. One could have quite a marathon of these films!
