Why I like season 1 better than season 2...spoiler alert!

Season 2 is good so far two episodes in but, we see a woman possessed in the first episode and we have no idea why; it totally jumped into the story without giving a background of what happened to her. I loved that in season 1, it centered around Kasey and her slow possession with the Salesman demon. The storyline kept me interested and wanting more. I know something will happen with the orphanage this season but I feel like this story is a little too rush. It's good so far but I think it lacks the greatness of season 1.....

That possessed woman at the beginning probably hasn't much to do with the storyline this season. It was just an exciting way to start the series and displays the new dynamic between Marcus and Tomas plus his visions. Season 1 started out with a possessed child breaking his own neck, there was no background info on him either.

I came here to the board to post the exact opposite, lol. I like the different storylines and not just focusing on 1 person the whole season. They struggle with helping someone and then free them in the last episode. I probably would have stopped watching the show had they gone that route. I didn't want to watch a repeat of season 1. I'm loving this season.

I really enjoyed episode 3. SPOILER *** Now they are going to send that poor little girl with the crazy mom to a place where there is actually a demon problem. Yikes!

Although I really liked Kasey's possession, and Gina Davis was great, I think Season 1 really went too far with that whole family and being tied to the original film held it back a bit.

Season 2 feels much more confident; I'm actually enjoying this one more.

I enjoyed S1 but after a couple episodes of S2, I deleted the timer, didn't seem to be going anywhere.

This season takes a while to develop, but IMHO, is much better than season 1.
