Will he be working on the same girl for the whole freaking season?

Seems a stretch and that's going to get boring real quick.

I dunno about this one yet. I think the movie was plenty and it's going to get old real quick seeing the same types of things.

Strange noises in the house.
Child is possessed.
Child talks with other weird deep voice and gets job as football announcer.
Child becomes a contortionist and needs a good skin cleanser.
Priest comes.
Chases demon out of child.
Repeat.

And in between have all this meaningless and boring dialog that doesn't matter when a lot of folks are just tuning in to watch the special efx that hardly happen and when they do, we saw it before.

Damn I'm good.

Casey's rat analogy and the previews for next week suggest there are many demons. The main possessed character may be the girl, but it looks like there will be more to it than that. None of the dialog was boring or meaningless. Jessica (and whoever she is to Tomas) will come up again. I'm sure we'll learn more about the father's accident, as well as Kat's. I like getting to know the characters and I like that they built up to the last scene.

So you won't be watching any more episodes?

Well...bye.

Yes, there will be whole episodes in the middle that consist of nothing but priests loudly reading from the Roman Ritual. :)

I think it's more likely that there are either multiple possessed people around town whose cases somehow have something to do with what's going on with the main family or the demon will start leaving or seeming to leave one family member only to possess another.

The dad seems like an example of that already.

The preview for the upcoming season that they showed after the first episode showed that there's some kind of devil cult who murder people in public places, like a subway. They will probably be the big bad that take the story outside of what is happening in just the house.

"Anything you say, Lloyd...anything you say!"
