So a possesed Mexican kid kills himself

and the white American girl will most likely not die.
Vote for Trump! Right?
Hey, figures that Fox would have the Mexican die and not the white American.

Damn I'm good.

reply

In all honesty Mexican lives do not carry as much weight as an American. Just like Jews are superior to Americans.
Trump is not pro Israel like Hillary. We need someone that will protect & aid Israel like Hillary.

It reminded me of the Favelas in Brazil, not Mexico.

reply

Father Marcus said it was Mexico City and that it was 18 months ago.._

reply

I know it was set in Mexico 18 months ago (I watched the episode). I am just mentioning that it reminded me less of Mexico City, and more of the Favelas in Brazil. I am from NYC, but I am very well traveled (and not just to "touristy" places), and I have a house in Mazatlan Mexico, and have been to Mexico City many times (to the main part of the city and the outskirts).

While I appreciate your point, I think the story needed the older priest to have a big exorcism-related scandal that forced him into retirement. The boy's death provided this.

reply

Then why not make it a white kid?

Damn I'm good.

reply

There needed to be a segment set outside the US for a sense of the scope of the struggle between good and evil. Maybe it should have been Eastern Europe.

reply

Then why not make it a white kid?

He was white. Just white and Hispanic.

As for why they had a child in a Catholic country that wasn't the U.S., the priest would be facing too many legal issues to operate freely here if he'd done the exorcism in the U.S. For story purposes, the previous exorcism needed to be in another country.

I don't get it.

You claim that there will be legal issues involved in a supernatural piece of fiction.
Since when do legal things ever come up in such things?

OK I'll humor that for the moment for my next question/comment.

So now he is going to do an exorcism here in the US and somehow he will not face any legal issues?

And I'm not asking why he did the first exorcism attempt in another country.
I'm bringing up why they have chosen the genders and races of those that they did.

Damn I'm good.

the Mexican boy did not kill himself.

reply

Mexican kid killed self cause he spit all his teeth out and could no longer eat the finest of ethnic cuisine.

reply

What, tacos?

reply

tacos, tamalies, menudo, enchiladas, all that and more

reply

the Mexican boy did not kill himself.

reply

We all know that. We are all aware the demon did. Yet, you keep posting it several times thinking we all aren't aware and that you are the only illuminated one.

reply

the Mexican boy did not kill himself.

reply

He did just say that, yet you had to post this again? Are you just bad at trolling?

reply

Lol

reply

Why not have the races and genders reversed?

White girl kills herself and Mexican boy is saved.

Damn I'm good.

reply

Because the white girl is the main character.

reply

You're trolling. The Mexican boy didn't kill himself. The demon defiled the innocent as an intentional insult to God by snapping his neck.

Don't assume a white girl won't die in this series.

Lets not race bait here. If the entire story took place in the U.S., you'd cry racism too.

Anneliese Michel was a white girl and she died from an alleged possession. The film, 'Exorcism of Emily Rose' was based on her.
