I agree. It wasn't particularly well done. If they were going for shocking, they shouldn't have shown it coming towards the window, and just gone with the jarring jump scare. I'm not a fan of jump scares, but if you're going to use them sparingly, that would have been the spot for one.

I disliked the crow, but found the girl's movements in the attic quite unnerving.
