Clearly it does. At first I thought Angela might be Regan, all grown up, and that was why her family is being targeted by the demons. But now I think it's because she's involved with the Pope's upcoming visit to Chicago. Clearly this Legion is planning something nasty for the Pope's visit, and that brutal slaughter at the end of episode 2 seemed to support that theory, with the camera showing the sign of the pope.
