episode 1 - the crow and rat? lame
episode 2 - the centipedes on the pillow...again..lame

I've seen various threads about bad CGI.

There have been a lot of big budget movies with a lot worse CGI than on this TV show, IMO.

the real issue is that CGI is not needed to tell a great story- it cheapens it

Agreed. I'd rather witness a great story than watch great special effects.

I agree. CGI is just NOT scary because you know exactly what it is. Its a problem with modern horror. It makes everything look so fake.

The original Exorcist used mechanical effects. Everything looked so real.

I heard they tried training extras from the Centipede Circus, but they all ran away.
